Uplifting Underprivileged Students

Many in weaker sections lack proper education and time for self-growth. Their lives are marked more by struggle than respect, often falling behind others in progress. Striving for basic needs, they miss greater life goals. To support such underprivileged groups, the organization took initiative. This led to the creation of the Snehankur School Project, offering hope and direction.

Shaping Strong and Positive Students

Since 2018, a special curriculum has been run in Pune Municipal schools. It promotes values and balanced growth—physical, mental, and intellectual. These values build confidence, discipline, and personality in students. Internalizing them leads to positive thinking and progress in life. This program helps students grow with direction and purpose.

Value-Based Education for a Better Society

Moral education shapes meaningful and enriched lives. Values impact generations and are central to Indian society. Reaching more students makes individuals and communities stronger. Many schools can’t offer value-based lessons consistently. To fill this gap, the trust launched a curriculum in nine schools over seven years.

Career & Counselling

School students are guided through physical and mental changes during adolescence, academic challenges, future planning, and various physical and mental health issues. This guidance provides direction to their lives. Children from educationally disadvantaged communities often lack financial support and proper guidance. In their families, there is an expectation that children aged 13-14 will start working and contributing to the household income. As a result, there is a high dropout rate among Municipal Corporation school students after the 7th grade. These children end up doing any available work, and sometimes, due to bad company, they develop addictions. Their lives take the wrong direction. Therefore, these school students are provided with guidance about career opportunities after the 10th and 12th grades, paving the way for progress in their lives. The organization provides information and guidance on starting small businesses with low investment and time requirements.

Spoken English Classes

English language education is now given to students from the 1st grade onwards. Students gain theoretical knowledge of this subject in school, but they often lack the ability to communicate in English, which becomes a major obstacle in employment and business. The organization is making special efforts to address this challenge.

Digital Lab

To help Municipal Corporation school students stand on their own feet in the age of science and technology, modern knowledge is essential. Without computer skills, it is now difficult to get a job in offices. To provide children with up-to-date computer knowledge, the organization has created well-equipped computer labs in schools, bearing the necessary expenses

School Library

These school students do not have access to general books other than their school textbooks. Their parents do not always consider the financial or intellectual need for this. As a result, these children remain uninformed about various subjects. All-round personality development is impossible without reading. To support the emotional and intellectual development of these students, the organization has created a beautiful reading room. This library offers a collection of storybooks, inspirational books, historical narratives, biographies of great personalities, and science-related books.

Chaitanya Bi-Monthly Magazine

The organization has started the ‘Chaitanya’ bi-monthly magazine for these school students. This magazine is published by the organization to foster a love of reading, satisfy their intellectual curiosity, and develop their writing skills. It includes stories, articles about nature, introductions to rural culture, the importance and introduction of festivals, psychologically rich stories, poems, stories about different regions, stories about Shivaji Maharaj’s forts, and science-related stories. These stories are published in special editions focusing on specific themes. The magazine is published in May and during Diwali. The organization provides Municipal Corporation school students with holistic, value-based education and the necessary resources for personality development.
