Every year in the month of December, the Sundar Sanskar and Swadhyaya Mandal Charitable Trust organizes a spiritual retreat called Chintan Shibir. The retreat is beautifully coordinated by Anagha Laghate, and it has a few unique highlights that make it special.
Each year, the program features a discourse on one chapter of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, offering participants deep insights into its timeless wisdom. Sessions on mudrashastra (the science of hand gestures) help participants understand how to maintain both physical and mental health. Expert psychologists guide attendees on how to gracefully embrace the changes that occur in body and mind after the age of forty, and how to continue living joyfully.
The retreat also emphasizes the importance of silence (maun) in maintaining excellent mental health and in eliminating negative thoughts. In addition, participants engage in meditation, mindfulness practices, holistic exercises, and fun games, creating a balance of discipline and enjoyment.
Held amidst the beauty of nature, Chintan Shibir has become a cherished annual tradition that nurtures body, mind, and spirit.
